We were delighted to collaborate with Waterford Culture Quarter and contribute to the huge success of the Thomas Street Pocket Park Sneak Peek event!
Our wonderful WNCN volunteers played an active role in setting up the space, supporting activities, and most importantly — connecting and socialising with local residents, families, and children throughout the day.
As a network representing the rich diversity of Waterford, we believe in the power of grassroots involvement and community-led projects to build bridges, create a sense of belonging, and celebrate the vibrant, multicultural city we all share.
The Thomas Street Pocket Park is a fantastic example of how inclusive public spaces can bring people together and help shape a more liveable, playful, and welcoming Waterford city centre. We are proud that WNCN can be a strong asset in supporting meaningful community engagement, especially in areas like the Waterford Culture Quarter, which has such a wonderfully diverse population.
Thank you to everyone who joined, supported, and helped make this event so memorable — we look forward to continuing this journey together!
