Márton Bisztrai

My name is Márton Bisztrai. I am a father of two fantastic children, and they are the main reason we relocated to Ireland with my wife.

I am always looking for people and communities open to engaging in dialogues despite their different values. My job is to give a voice to the narratives of vulnerable and oppressed communities. As a cultural anthropologist, I conducted participatory-based research in a small Palestinian West Bank town for two and a half years.

Since 2015, I have been working with refugees and other vulnerable migrants. Currently, I am coordinating the Show Racism The Red Card programme in the Immigrant Council of Ireland.
