Csilla brings a wealth of experience gained from working in four countries in education and training before transitioning into community development, providing her with a versatile perspective and skill set.
A vibrant advocate dedicated to uplifting migrant communities and fostering inclusion, Csilla holds a Master’s in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Motivational Interviewing from SETU, with a fervent commitment to enhancing mental health accessibility for migrants in Ireland.
Currently, she serves in the community department of Waterford City and County Council. Moreover, Csilla is the visionary behind the Waterford New Communities Network, where she serves as its founder and chairperson. This initiative sprouted from her collaboration with local migrant groups while orchestrating A Slice of Culture, Waterford’s multicultural festival.

Outside of her professional endeavours, Csilla finds solace in nature, cherishes canine companionship, and revels in artistic pursuits.
Her mission? To cultivate inclusive spaces, foster unity, and advocate for migrant well-being in Waterford. Central to her vision is empowering migrants and celebrating their invaluable contributions and talents within the community.
