Curupira, guardian of the Forest

Curupira is a guardian of the forest. He has red hair like flames and his feet are turned backwards.
One day, a hunter walked into the forest, looking for prey. Curupira spotted him from behind a tree.
Curupira pretended he was the prey and tricked the hunter with his footprints turned backwards.
The hunter then followed the footprints and got lost in the forest.
Curupira started whistling his maddening whistle.
The hunter went mad and ran away from the forest.
